darthbecca. This was my pregnancy journal, which I used for recording all my thoughts during my pregnancy. I decided to create this journal after having read another person's public online journal about her journey through pregnancy. Her journal was comforting and reassuring during my first couple of weeks of pregnancy. Now, I use it to record thoughts about new motherhood.
My due date was June 19, 2007. McKenna Sunshine was born on June 20, 2007, exactly 25 minutes after her due date had passed. She was 8 lbs 12 ounces at birth, and 20.5 inches long. I had her completely naturally, laboring at home for the majority of my 22 hours of labor. My midwives decided I needed to be transferred to the hospital toward the end of labor, as there was a fear that I may be bleeding too much. McKenna was born 25 minutes after I arrived at the hospital.
